Our Mental Competency Assessment and Training (MCAT) Program was established in 2007. Clients who have been found to be incompetent to stand trial and are ordered to receive competency training by the courts, can participate in our comprehensive 4-phase competency program. We provide both community-based (provide services to the client in their environment- correctional facility, home, group home, other community setting) and remote electronic training services to juveniles and adults. This program equips individuals with the necessary skills to participate in their judicial process.

This allows you to independently run a successful competency restoration program, with the added flexibility to license your own trainers.
We provide both clinical and forensic psychological assessments. In addition to our competency to stand trial program, we conduct numerous forensic psychological assessments. The primary purpose of a forensic evaluation is to provide an expert opinion on an individual’s mental state and behavior for legal purposes. Various forensic evaluations are conducted including risk assessments (e.g., Sex Offender evaluations, Arson Risk, & Sexually Violent Predator), competency to stand trial assessments, insanity assessments, neuropsychological evaluations, parental fitness/bonding assessments, and more.
